Thanksgiving Leftovers Puree

Posted by Sarah Meyer on

If there’s one thing I’m thankful for, it’s Thanksgiving leftovers!

But try this recipe if you have a bit too much left over, or if this is your little’s first Thanksgiving so they don’t miss out on all the fun (i.e. - food!)

It’s perfect for stage 1 eaters, but you can chop or mush the ingredients for kiddos who have moved on to solids!

(Note: Do not use food that has been sitting out for more than 2 hours).

Ingredients

  • 1 slice cooked turkey
  • Water (more or less as needed)
  • 1 cooked carrot
  • 1 small cooked potato
  • Cranberry sauce

Directions

  1. Put turkey and water in food processor and blend until smooth (use just enough water to puree without being runny).
  2. Add carrot and potato to food processor and blend until smooth. Add water as needed.
  3. Add a small amount of cranberry sauce and blend until smooth

And there you have it! An easy peasy Thanksgiving puree. Let us know how this recipe worked for you!
